The little green thing is a Canta, a car that was originally intended for disabled people, but is liked by all kind of people  in Amsterdam.

After building it unchanged for 20+ years, they recently launched the Canta 2. Modern design doesn’t really work on Canta proportions:

Is that why their allowed to drive in the bike lanes? We saw some black ones about the same size but with more modern styling. Almost smart car like.

Btw bitterballen are to die for and you guys bring fries to the next level.

And I want a ice cold Heineken tap. I can't figure out why we don't get that in the states.

Yes the Canta is allowed to drive in bike lanes because of that (and it’s width of only 1.1m) There are other brands out there (mainly French ones) but they aren’t allowed to drive on bike lane s

Yes, bitterballen are great, and our fries are pretty good too. Belgian fries are even better though!
